BRUTE AND MINI-BRUTE APRONS
- The Brute family of aprons will outwear ANY
comparable apron. On a cost/wear basis, PGI's Brute aprons cannot be matched!
- Brute's polyester base fabric provides superior cut
protection, abrasion resistance and tear resistance compared to 100% cotton base used by
many competitors.
- Brute's quick-release self-material neck strap
provides more comfort then standard rope or tape ties, and its quick-release metal buckle
will allow the apron to tear off if it is caught in moving equipment.
- Brute's nickel-plated brass grommets will not
corrode or rust.
- Brute's patented Belly-Band (Patent No. 4,030,139)
covers 60% more area than competitors, and the added weight of the
built-in extra protective layer is placed where it counts - not throughout the entire
apron.

NITRILE (HYCAR) APRONS
Nitrile (Hycar) has excellent
resistance to acids, solvents, oils and animal fats. This material
is superior to neoprene and natural rubber for abrasion, cut and
puncture resistance. Fabrics are double-coated for best possible
protection, wear-life and ease of cleaning. Available in white, black and yellow, and in
heavy and extra-heavy weights. All edges are sewn with heavy polyester thread.
Aprons also include four nickel-plated brass grommets, reinforcement at all
grommets and 48-inch poly rope ties.
